Audio as a Service…
Whether you're tracking an album or schlepping on tour, artists and managers need someone to have their back when things get technical.
With over a decade of musical experience I’ve worked all sides of the stage and then some, with a constant eye open for improvement. My first experience “working live sound” was simply plugging the band I gigged with into a bar’s dusty PA and trying to make us sound good.
It wasn’t long until I started bugging the Larimer Lounge audio team for a space to learn and develop my skills. As my experience grew so did a passion for the local community. This lead me to becoming lead audio manager at the historic Mercury Cafe, where I continue to engage with art on the ground level.
Since 2022 I’ve mixed or run 250+ live acts and events, from weddings and conferences to international touring artists, with consistent praise from performers and managers. Each gig has something to learn from, and it brings me pride to put my skills to use in such an important way.
All the lessons learned onstage I have taken to the studio. This has totally changed how I record and produce, given me a perspective on what matters and when.
However, the value of an engineer doesn't stop with their knowledge.
I believe in audio engineering as a service; to provide peace of mind for the artist or client. All too often you come across rude or apathetic sound techs; that can really take the energy out of your work. To truly service my clients means bringing affability, good humor and responsive thinking into the room. I put the focus on your needs and make it happen.
Ultimately, you want someone confident, capable and chill in the room with you, no matter your audio goals.
That’s where I come in.
